Dead Animal Removal

Professional Wildlife Control in Treasure Valley in Idaho and Southern California

We understand that finding a dead animal in or around your home or business can be upsetting and unnerving. Call in the experts for help! We will make sure your space is free from unwanted pests or animals that have passed nearby.

If removal of dead rodent is possible we will do so. However, if we are unable to locate the source, we will place an odor control bag in the general vicinity of the odor source. These odor bags will assist in controlling/eliminating the odor during the course of decomposition.

Signs of a Dead Animal in Your Home

If you suspect there may be a dead animal in your home, there are several signs to look for. First, you may notice a strong and persistent odor coming from a particular area of your house. This is often the most prominent sign that something has died. Another telltale sign is the presence of flies or other insects in your home that have congregated around the carcass. Finally, you may see maggots or other larvae near the site of the deceased animal. These creatures only feed on decaying flesh, so their presence is a strong indicator. If you notice any of these signs, your suspicions are most likely correct.

Most Common Areas For Animal Carcasses

In the attic, animal carcasses may be found in insulation, behind walls, or in storage boxes. In the garage, animal carcasses may be found in car engines, on shelves, or in storage containers. Under the house, animal carcasses may be found in the crawlspace or basement. In the crawlspace, animal carcasses may be found beneath floorboards or inside ductwork. While these are the most common places for animal carcasses to be found, they can really be anywhere.
